A church family in the Alluwe community
Alluwe Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist congregation at 27989 OK-28 in the rural New Alluwe area, west of Chelsea in Rogers County, Oklahoma.
We are a small church, and we think that is a strength. People know each other by name. Visitors get noticed, greeted and invited back. Our services are simple and centered on Scripture: we sing, we pray, and we open the Bible and preach what it says.
Our whole reason for being can be said in two sentences. We love God to become more like Jesus. We love people to make Jesus known to them. The statements below say the same thing in full.
Mission
Alluwe Baptist Church exists to glorify God by leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, making disciples who worship faithfully, grow biblically, serve generously, and share the hope of the Gospel with our community and the world.
Vision
Our vision is to be a Christ-centered church where people know God through His Word, find belonging in biblical community, discover their God-given purpose, and live on mission so that Alluwe and beyond are transformed by the love and truth of Jesus Christ.

The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God and the foundation for all faith and practice.

God
We believe there is one true God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, who lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended to the Father, and will return in glory.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts, comforts, guides, empowers, and equips believers to live faithfully for Christ.

Humanity
We believe every person is created in the image of God and has eternal value.

Salvation
Because sin separates humanity from God, every person needs salvation, which is offered freely by grace through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone.

Baptism
We believe baptism by immersion is an act of obedience that publicly identifies a believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

The Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples, serve one another, love our neighbors, and proclaim the Gospel locally and globally.

A Sunday at Alluwe
How the day goes
Sunday School, 10:00 am
Classes for children, youth and adults, working through the Bible together in smaller groups. Coffee is on.
Morning worship, 11:00 am
About an hour. Hymns and songs, prayer, and a sermon that walks through a passage of Scripture.
Evening service, 6:00 pm
A smaller, quieter gathering to end the Lord's Day with more teaching and prayer.
